A bread made from yeasted dough enriched with sugar and fats. This sweet bread recipe yields beautiful loaves that are soft and moist. It makes a delicious sandwich but is also good when eaten plain on its own. Drizzle condense milk over to satisfy any sweet tooth.
Place flour, Saf-instant® Gold yeast, IBIS® bread improver, calcium propionate and condensed milk in a bowl and mix well, approximately 15 minutes.
Add sugar, salt, margarine, and water and knead for 15 minutes or until dough is well developed.
SHAPING
Divide the dough equally into 20 pieces at approximately 500g each.
Roll up the dough and place each piece into a loaf tin.
Cover the tin and proof the dough at room temperature for 40 minutes or until double in size.
BAKING
Preheat oven to 180˚C.
Bake for around 30 minutes at 180˚C or until golden brown.
Let the bread cool before slicing.
